From its place high above Seattle, Second Avenue opens toward an ever-changing view of Puget Sound. Brio took its cues from that landscape, drawing shades of blue, green, and gray into rooms shaped by gentle curves and touchable textiles. The renovation softened the condominium’s hard edges while keeping the living spaces open to light and the horizon. The Coco Chandelier, mimics a strand of pearls and lends a sense of occasion to the living space. In the bedroom, a mural of breaking waves brings the water close again. The result is a city retreat with the ease of a place apart.
