West Seattle Renovation
The character of this 1928 Tudor lives in its arched openings, leaded glass, and intimate sense of place. The renovation was a close collaboration: the husband, a builder, carried out the construction, while the wife brought a clear creative vision to the design process. Together with Brio, they reshaped the kitchen for family life while preserving the details that make the house distinctive. In the primary bath, a clawfoot tub sits before a remarkable arched window, giving a once underused room a new center of gravity. Eclectic touches bring freshness to the interiors and leave room for the family’s own finds and memories to become part of the home.Photography by Kara Mercer
